iNDiGO Magazine

For my final major project I created a publication.  This is a student’s fashion magazine aiming to bridge the gap between cool, fashion content and accessible, affordable content appropriate for students. This project heavily follows the theme of underconsumption, encouraging students to use what they already have in the wardrobe as oppose to going out and buying new.  It also follows topics of sustainability by encouraging consumers to shop second hand whilst educating on why this is better for the environment.  Through artist features and spotlights, this magazine aims to give students a place to share their work and get creative.  It is for students who want to get more educated on fashion, arts and culture but are looking for a more accessible outlet.  It’s for students on a budget who want to be more in the know about fashion and be up to date with relevant news and trends.  I found that, as a student, there was nothing within my budget that gave me accessible fashion content - my project aims to change this. Within this project, I created the physical publication, packaging, stickers, postcards and a digital platform, all under the branding and style of iNDiGO.
Please see below for images of the content and design, along with a flick through of the completed publication.
